Rocky road à La mode is a game of managing time and resources to meet the demands of sweet-treat-seekers! the game features multi-use cards and a time track that determines the players' turn order. The player whose ice cream truck is furthest back on the road goes next and may choose from several actions on their turn: stocking up on new treats, playing music over the loudspeaker to attract business, or passing out treats to fulfill customer desires. Every choice costs time and forces players to move ahead on the road track. Once a player is no longer in the rear of the pack, their turn ends until they find themselves lagging behind again. In addition to gaining loyalty points from happy customers, players can gain bonus treats in their permanent supply so that they can meet demand a little easier. Throughout the game, players also fight to earn the right to take over several of the different territories that make summer great: the beach, the pool, the park, and the ballfield.

Who doesn't LOVE ice cream?!
My husband and I love this game. It's a great game to play when we don't have the time to play (or setup) a longer game.Short and definitely sweet, this lil game packs a big punch. We've had it for about 6 months now and it's gotten quite a bit of play.The resource mechanism reminds us a lot of Splendor, another game we love.This game may be small but don't let that deter you!

Great fun family game
My 9 year old and myself really love this game. It took a few tries of watching a couple of play throughs but once you do this game is easy and fun. We love the theme, the multi-use cards, and the general vibe of the game. If you have played Patchwork you will get the player turn movement down pretty quickly. Simple, fast, fun. Can't say enough good things about this game. I love it, my son loves it. Win win.

Easy to learn, fast playing engine builder board game.
Quick play, easy rules and small footprint make this a great introductory engine building game. Definitely recommend, especially for fans of games like Splendor.

Really fun little card game.
This game is great for throwing in a bag and take along for downtime on a vacation. The mechanics of this game are so well done. The way that it keeps things even with the track and the hand "limit" is great. The way the cards are used to keep up with the status and points is very creative. Highly recommended.

You should buy this.
Great game, easy to understand and fun for the whole family. Looks like a "kiddie" game, but there's enough strategy involved to satisfy veteran gamers. Our first games ran about 20-30 minutes, which makes this a perfect lunch-time filler. This is a solid addition to anyone's game library, and a great value!

Highly recommend
Fantastic game. I've only played it 2 players so far, but it's amazing. The turns feel like Patchwork almost, with the catch up mechanism. I enjoyed the theme and loved the components. A lot of game in a small box.
