Great practice kit. And the instructional video was great

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Comes with a good assortment of sutures. The various pads allows me to practice different types of closure. The consistency of the “tissues” is pretty good, it’s quite a bit than live tissue, but serves it’s purpose well. The instruments aren’t premium quality, but again, i would not expect them to be and they serve their intended purpose well, and frankly, if you practice enough to suture well with these, when you have true medical grade instruments in your hands, it’s likely to feel easier.

My daughter wants to be a surgeon. She loves this kit!! It gives so many different options for practicing her sutures.

The scalpel is actually great quality, which is weird to find in practice kits like this one. Great job here with the multi layers, it really gives a good idea on how the real tissue separates and has different textures as well, usually then you use these silicone kits you get used to a soft, stretchy material and nothing else so when the real world hits and you feel the real difference it freaks you out a little, so it’s good to have kind of a heads up. The quality of the instruments and the silk and nylon sutures, is great to be for practice, big companies typically give you whatever they have around because they know it won’t go in an actual person but that’s not helpful because you need to know how real things feel, so I’m giving this kit a 5 star review only because that’s the maximum, I would totally give this 10 stars, would buy it again no doubt

Durable suture pad, many different types of sutures included, instruments are less quality than expected, they are small so if you have fat fingers you won’t be able to use them, they appear very cheap, blade does not attach easily.

3rd year student who is interested in surgery, I really wanted to find a great suture pad to practice, especially running subcuticular. I got this one just off a hunch and I love it. The mesh imbedded in the humped suture pad is amazing, hold what I need and I have been getting better and better. Definitely worth the price if you are thinking surgery.

Bought this to practice sutures in ARNP school as many times we don’t have labs or practice outside of patient care and as an RN is not something I do. Quality feels good I actually had the opportunity to suture a live patient before opening my kit and having. The kit made me excited to keep practicing afterwards. Easy to use the instruments look cheap but so do the ones on the hospital kits.
