Good product
Good product. This is my second Dock Edge. I won't go into details how I ruined the first one which I had for several years...let's just say it was stupidity. My only complaint is there are two different versions of the Dock Edge. Several years ago I ordered two, one for myself and one for a friend. The friends version had a smaller spindle than the one I received and each had different mounting plates. The one with the larger spindle looks identical to the more expensive "Taylor Made" wheel.As a result when, I received the new replacement unit with the smaller spindle I had to drill all new holes in the dock.

Great for a new captain
I needed this as a "just in case" for learning to dock a new 30' powerboat with blue hullsides. And this little guy has helped protect the finish on my boat more than once!I highly recommend this product. Once installed you just don't think about it and it is there to protect your boat. It rolls well when loaded (if the boat is pushed by wind into it, and you power through it, it leaves no marks on my brand new boat).

Works as you'd hope it would. I might buy a second one for the other side of the dock.
