Well built and useful filter.
I am one of those people who use filters primarily as lens protection and, given my clumsiness, they have served me well. After my last mishap, I chose this filter to replace the bottom-of-the-line one that it replaced. I have found a noticeable difference between this filter and the one it replaced. The glass is much clearer (I keep wanting to say 'cleaner' because that is the feeling I get). The description says High Resolution and I don't know if that is the reason but, despite the fact that, price-wise, it wasn't that different from my other filter which got scratched, when you hold them both up to the light, this one is definitely better.

This is not a bad product for its price!
It's a great product for that price range. You get what you paid for it, but it did met good expectations. But unfortunately uv filters (in general), is something that if people really wants a more contrasty and crisper photos, they will have to use their lenses without it (most people use it as a lens protection, as I do). Unless you pay for a filter with high quality, which might not be very cheap, but does a good job for the photos and keep your expensive lenses from scratching. Anyways, this not a bad product! :)

Would Recommend
The lens came quickly before expected delivery date. That was a plus, although I did not receive the microfiber cleaning cloth as stated along with my lens but that's ok. Can't complain with the price of $0.99. Lens quality was really great, did not feel cheap. Fits over the kit lens of my Nikon D3200 DSLR camera and would recommend this lens to anyone else looking to protect your lens from UV light and take nice sharp images.

Great way to protect the lens of your camera
Read a tip about protecting the lens of your camera by buying an inexpensive filter and screwing it onto the lens. This lens filter does the job perfectly for this. It actually already has a small scratch on it but this does not seem to be affecting the quality of the photos yet. But I'm definitely glad the scratch is on the filter and not the lens itself.

Fits perfect, no problems. Mainly using it to protect the lense. Just an amateur photographer but this seems to be a good piece of hardware. Came in a nice plastic case that you could reuse with this or another similar lense.

not for me
I was hoping to have something to help protect my nice telephoto lens... Supposedly professionals run around with UV filters and use them as sort of a lens cap substitute. These aren't supposed to affect the way your photos look. With my camera on a tripod, I can take photos with this thing attached, then remove it and take more photos, and the photos without it look MUCH better. I don't know whether it is because this product is bad, or if all UV filters do that and most photographers are just blind... I'm hoping the former.

Works as expected. No complaints.
The filter filters UV light perfectly in sunny conditions. I take photos very often in the bright sun and they have all come out much better since I started using this filter. I have since purchased one for each of my 52mm lenses.
