Brighter than I expected
I bought these for an evening pop up market. They are so bright and will be more than adequate. I am going to get a few more and keep them in the house in case the power goes out. I am pleasantly surprised by this purchase.

Awesome bargain
I have been buying these lanterns for a long time. They are light weight and have a long battery life. Great quality. Can’t beat a 2 pack! They hang very good. To be honest I haven’t tested the magnet strength. Great for travel, camping, etc.

Light everywhere
This is a very bright light. Wish there were a partial cover of the lighting area that one could put on to give the light "direction". In general areas where light is needed, these provide it in spades. Even when "lowered" (which is how one is supposed to lessen the amount of light given off), it provides an incredible bright light. I didn't notice much drop off in lighting when I did lower the top, no matter how far I pushed it down (until it turned off). Couldn't rate the battery life, since we've not yet had to change batteries after one camping trip using these lights.

Best and Handiest Light for Home & Camping
I love these lanterns! They are handy with easiest activation: just pull the handles up to lift the top section for light to show -- you control how much light. Bright light shines 360 degrees. Battery access is easy with just a turn of the bottom of the lantern. I keep a lantern on my nightstand in my home! Much better than flashlights that have varying ways to activate and only provide a narrow stream of light. The 2nd lantern is in my Emergency Bag. For me, this is one of the best purchases I've made in a long time.

These will be terrific in power outages, their compact yet are really bright when turned on maximum, and are small to tuck away when not in use

Great bargain
The power goes out where I live in the summer alot due to storms. These were the perfect solution for me. They are of quality material and do provide quite a bright light. I really can't talk to battery life because that depends on the batteries you use. I used the ones that came with it and they lasted quite a long time. Definitely a great deal from the price. Recommend having a set around for emergencies, camping, wherever you need some light.
