Pacific Bay Newport Round Soft-Close Toilet Seat (White)

We needed to replace a wobbly and uncomfortable toilet seat that seemed to bend when you sat on it. It was only a matter of time, right? This one is much more comfortable and supports when you sit on it. Installation was easy and adjustable from length and width at least by 1/4 " I'd say. I think the hinge covers are better than the flip up ones that usually tend to break off and are hard to clean. So far no wobbles from the screws.

Great seat. I wanted it to work with my new bidet but unfortunately it didn't fit for that so I installed it in my guest bathroom. Soft close function is awesome, no more banging the seat or lid. Install was quick and easy. Nice replacement for the wood seat which stains so easily. This is easy to clean and always looks that way.

This is a very nice toilet seat that has exceeded our wildest expectations. The whole family fights over who gets to use it each day, and we often find ourselves sitting on it for absolutely no good reason. That's how much we love it.

Not a fan at all of this product. Don’t want to go through the hassle of returning because I was foolish and allowed my son to install (which he did properly) but he didn’t hold onto our old toilet seat and the trash men came this morning. Model doesn’t fit appropriately and seat wobbles. Slow close feature does work, so that’s good.

I bought this to replace our old platic one that my spouse purchased about a year ago. I hated the plastic one. This one has a nice sturdy, almost wood like, feel to it. Pretty easy to install but the plastic nuts used to secure it underneath have plastic wings to help rotate it around the bolt. They were too long and hit the side of the tank so I couldn't secure it tightly so you may have to trim the wings. I used a pair of wire cutters and they fit perfectly after that.

We probably all look for the same three basic things in a toilet seat -- comfort, that it doesn't come crashing down when it's closed, and that it doesn't wiggle loose after it's attached. This seat works well on the first two but is only so-so on the third.It's surprising to me that creating a solid toilet seat with adjustable-width fittings to accommodate various toilets seems to be so challenging. This seat attempts to address the problem by having rotating disks at the top with an off-axis holes so that the disks can be rotated to align the attachment bolts perfectly with the toilet fixture holes. It's a good concept, but given the slippery plastic bolts, the slippery smooth porcelain of the toilet, and the slippery plastic of the seat itself....things still wobble with use. I added friction tape under the seat fitting and that helped. But it's annoying to buy anything and have to do product mods right out the gate.

Very good product for the money. Well made and aesthetically pleasing to the eye and very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive yet well made toilet seat.

Bought two of these and they both work good, Silent while closing and not making any loud crashes or bangs. Nice and good buy.
