11/3/24 So Useful for Scooping Leaves & Smaller Tree Limbs
These scoops are great for moving large scoopfuls of leaves and smaller 3’-ish length, and 2-inch circumference tree branches onto the tarp and wheelbarrow to move piles into the woods at the back of our property. Very efficient. Easy to use if I put my hands through the handles and grip the tops of each scoop. Using the handles alone requires more arm strength than I have and is therefore less stable for me. Strong and sturdy. We’ve owned and used these scoops for years, and they’re in the same condition as they were when we received. Recommended.

Most effidient way to pick up leaves
My wife picked up a cheaper set at a bargain outlet several years ago. They have been steadily disintegrating, though very useful. I just used the Tabor leaf scoops and was scooping leaves that piled up over the last few years. They worked well and seemed to be taking the strain. Short of a gas powered leaf vac, I don't know of a faster way to load leaves into a truck.

A good tool in your leaf cleaning arsenal.
These work just fine and do help to scoop leaves. I have MOUNTAINS of leaves in Fall and it's a long job to get rid of them. This is just one tool in the arsenal and you will still need blowers/rakes/tarp and nothing beats having a service come to suck up the leaves you get down to your curb. Good quality, but they do tend to hurt my forearms with prolonged use. I find using them for smaller jobs/remnants better than moving large piles.

Best Yard Tool I've ever spent money on
I have acres and acres of oak and hickory surrounding my house and throughout my neighborhood. Every Fall/Winter, I spend somewhere between 80 and 120 hours strictly doing leave removal. I can literally fill an entire quarter acre lot 4 feet deep 2 times over full of leaves from all the trees- in part because I live in a cul de sac and prevailing winds this time of the year blows the entire 'hood's leave into me and my neighbor's yards.Anyway, what you get is a pair of "claws". They are a little flexy but thus far, they have withstood my meathooks as well as my neighbor's overly-playful kids in moving leaves from inside our yards to outside my back fence, where they get mulched into fine puree with a seriously overpowered walk-behind deck mower.I still blow the leaves from the front yard ot the back, then build a giant berm along the back fence. I then use these marvelous "claws" to relocate that ginormous pile of leaves to the other side of the fence. If I have any complaint, it is that I didn't discover these until this year. Otherwise, I recommend using either gloves with a long sleeve (like welding gauntlets) or a long-sleeve shirt as the brace flexing against your forearm will eventually be annoying.

Worth every penny!
These grabbers are worth every penny! When you grab them appropriately, they rise enough above your hand that they also support your entire arm which gives me more strength and the ability to grab more debris than I thought. The grabber end is very large. Another great feature is that when you want to put them away, they actually spoon together (one inside the other) and have openings at the top so they can be hung in that spooned position!Great help in the yard!

they are great!
I used them as soon as I got them, I chose these after reading e reviews of all the other similar products. While the reviews on these were not what I would call good, the reviews on these were better than the rest.First thing I noticed was the hand holds are too flimsy, I could feel them bending when I was picking up light material but I can fix that with a little PVC and duct tape and they could be bigger in order to pick more leaves or what ever. So, I guess so far these are the only criticisms I have. I might post pictures after I modify them.

If you have a yard, you need these!
Sturdy and comfortable, these are fantastic for picking up spiny, thorny weeds that pierce through leather gloves. I did a lot of weeding recently, and they picked up piles of weeds with ease, but the real breakthrough was finally having something to pick up the super thorny weeds. One was so large, more than 2 feet across, that I had to use a transplanter shovel to unearth the roots. These scoops were large enough to pick up the monster. These will also be great to get large scoopfuls of compost, mulch, even pruned branches. Use them to smooth out soil before planting. And oh yes, picking up leaves. I'm sure I'll find many more uses for them. They nest together with hang holes for the neatniks.
