SpyderMen's Bandit Full Zip Fleece Jacket (pack of 1)

Great design and fits well. I've learnt to get a size smaller with all Spyder gear in Europe as it seems to be the right fit. One issue I have though is that it's fitted with a ladies front zip. It takes some getting used to as a bloke. I've not yet needed to wash it so my review might change.

My usual cloth size is small, and I ordered the small red jacket this time. It is perfectly fitted.

I will start with this...6' 1" 220 lbs with a bit above average arm length and a bit of a beer belly. I bought an XL and it fit me perfect. I used this as a mid layer for my winter hiking in the Whites. I just went out and did Canon Mt on 16-Jan-22. Temps were -7 when we started. I wore this along with a Spyder Wicking shirt under it. I also had a Columbia Vest on top. After about a 1/2 hr of hiking I shed the vest. Mind you, I was moving and keeping a steady body heat going but for a fleece, this was phenomenal. The material keeps you warm and unlike a traditional fleece. This has a knitted outer material on top of the fluffy comfy material you expect from a fleece. I believe this knitted portion helped break the wind which is a downfall of a fleece.I did opt for putting the vest back on at the Summit as I was exposed and after resting my body temp cooled down. But I did shed it again on the way down. I have ZERO doubt that this would be plenty warm enough for any spring, fall day or even just the go between your house and car in the winter. Although I recommend an actual jacket in the even you break down.And lets face it, it is Spyder and it looks the balls...

these are great mid weight jackets, by themself or layered, I got 2 for my nephews

The item is great and looks brand new but in one of the side pockets there was 2 paper napkins that make me think that is not a new item or a return one. Anyways I’m going to keep it.

Spyder is a new brand for me, and I’m impressed. I ordered a women’s vest and now this men’s jacket. Both have way exceeded my expectations - the pieces are sporty, designed for movement, but also have a comfortable and super flattering fit. For this one - Spyder Men’s Bandit - Volcano Black - the extra details really stand out with the bright fire engine red color. It looks great on. It’s a lighter, mid-level jacket, a polyester knit lined with fleece. It gives warmth but is not up to blizzards. I ordered a size large for my husband, 5’ 11” 190 lbs. (with an athletic build). It fits perfectly, really like the bright red.
