The cover arrived as described with no issues. It was nicely package with instruction.The cover is easily installed and I had it completed in about 20 minutes. I used a staple gun with 9/16”, T50 staples every 4-6 inch’s.The insulation properties of the material are what I would expect. I noticed a temperature change in the area of the ladder within a few hours.The material thickness matched the ad and the overall product is well made in my opinion. Based on amount of use I consider it to be durable. The zippers can be difficult at the corners when zipping open or closing but I expected that.The size was as described and fit near perfect to my attic opening. My opening was slightly larger than the stated measurement in the ad. The cover did not interfere with raising and lowering the ladder.Overall, I’m pleased with the products quality value and functionality. I would recommend to others.

I am really surprised how well this barrier has worked out. Installation was easy and even though the width was slightly larger than the attic ladder opening, the material is flexible enough to still work perfectly. I used a staple gun with 1/2 inch staples to hold down along the inside frame. Once held down, the zipper worked with no issues and, more importantly, there was a huge difference in the temperature around the attic opening into the house. I could always feel a cold spot when walking by the attic opening in the winter and a warm spot in the summer. Now, no cold spot… as for warm spot, we’ll see come summer but I suspect it will work very well.

Cheap, easy to install and definitely works

My house came with an insulation blanket that was essentially fiberglass insulation sandwiched between mylar tape. Great insulation, but a real pain to manage. The upstairs attic had no place for the blanket to GO when you needed to get into the attic, so it was always getting caught on stuff and ripping. Flipping the downstairs blanket out of the way always resulted in the cellulose insulation dropping into the house. Eventually I got tired of it and bought one of these. Installation was simple, I just needed my staple gun and a stick of staples. Took me less than 15 minutes to get it COMPLETELY stapled all the way around.Now, it IS less insulative than the old blanket. Going up to unzip this, it's rather warm in the space between the cover and where the ceiling is, but the attic door has insulation foam on it, so none of the heat leaks into the house while it's closed. Other than that, this thing is great.

So we would get heat in the summer and cold thru the winter coming from the attic stairs, so we installed this, took about 10 minutes, and it works great. Fits well and does the job. Easy to install, I did it myself like I said in about 10 minutes. The only downside is I have to unzip it to get into the attic but the small minute inconvenience is worth the temperature differential this product delivers.

The media could not be loaded. This is hand down one of the best products in terms of value and immediate effectiveness. Blown away how much heat it keeps out. Super easy to install: very happy

Good quality product

This was very easy to install, and it really is just two zips of the zipper to get in and out of the attic. It’s so nice to not have to worry about the heat and cold streaming out from under the door. My wife does not like it and says that it’s an added step to getting in the attic that’s unnecessary. I also Like it keeps the bogeyman away.

Passt gut und lässt sich prima einbauen

Ich habe die Abdeckung bei zwei verschiedenen Dachbodentreppen ausprobiert und sie passte bei beiden nicht. Die Höhe der Abdeckung ist zu gering, so dass die Treppe (oder der Federmechanismus der Treppe) im eingeklappten Zustand an die Abdeckung stößt und sie zerstört.

Habe meine ein paar Monate installiert. Anfangs war ich auch echt überrascht was für ein unterschied die Haube macht.Jedoch bildeten sich bei Temperaturen unter 0 Grad , von innen Kondenswasser so das die ganze Haube klitsch nass war. Endergebnis nach ein paar Wochen musste die gesamte Dachboden Treppe ausgetauscht werden wegen dieser Haube da das komplette Holz ringsum durch die hohe Feuchtigkeit weggegammelt ist.
