I am renovating a 1997 home. The house has 4 floor plugs. The original plates were fake brass/plastic and we broken during the renovation. I had a heck of a time finding replacements. I called the manufacturerwho happened to be Carlon. My plates were discontinued 20 years ago. I called their support line..gave the measurements of the floor box and the floor plate...after a couple of minutes the tech was able to suggest these which matched perfectly. It took about 15 minutes initially to install the 1st one and went quicker as I went. Very happy with these.
