It’s Perfect!
I was constantly loosing my pencil down the side of my chair cushions. I taped a long piece of ribbon to it so it would be easier to find, but when I saw this, I knew it was a much better solution. Easy. Simple. Convenient. Hurrah!

Great product that unfortunately doesn't solve my problem
I don't know why I thought the connector on this would be less of a problem than having my Pencil Pro wrapped in a silicon sleeve, but it looks like I'm running up against the same issue.I've gone through three of those "so tough it'll withstand three more world wars!!" type of cases from three different companies for the new iPad pro. And so far, when it comes to subpar design as far as housing the Apple Pencil, I'm three for three. All the cases have a slot for the Apple Pencil, and none of them are secure. If I want to make sure I don't lose my $120 writing tool, I literally have to walk with the case in my hand, and my hand covering the Pencil slot -- totally defeating the shoulder strap each case came with, by the way. I've already lost one Pencil because of this. Another one is now dam aged from dropping loose. Didn't know it had fallen out of the case until I stepped on it.In an attempt to secure my expensive toy, I've purchased silicone sleeves in hopes of making for a snugger fit inside these loose compartments. Well, lo and behold, none of these "This case will outlive your grandchildren!!" products lasted long before the pencil case actually busted. And those sleeves also make for a crap shoot when it comes to charging the pencil. If you're rotated even a bit, the silicone stops the magnet from connecting, and your 10% battery life is now 7% when you check an hour after putting it into the pencil slot.SO, when I came across this tether, I thought for sure it would remedy the issue because it isn't an entire sleeve. Surely this tiny band at just one point of the pencil can't be too much of a strain on my fragile "This case will eat a bag of nails just on a dare!!" iPad protectors. But, alas, I keep coming up with the same issue. Pencil doesn't fit unless i force it into the case, and if I'm not careful, Pencil's fickle design will not allow it to charge unless it's placed just so within the case. (Managed to crack to the "heavy duty" plastic that makes up the case, which I believe was supposed to keep invading space aliens from destroying every monument on earth in new and interesting ways.)SO this is more of a review of the myriad subpar iPad cases out there, I guess. I like the idea of the tether, and I think it'd be great for anyone out there who doesn't seem to take the struggle bus to Apple Land every day, like I do. The fit is secure and does not slip off. Trust me. I've had my pencil dangling for a few days with nary a slip.I'll be super happy to bump this up to five stars when there's a tether that attaches without the minuscule amount of bulk it takes to ruin a "Some day, if he works hard enough, Chuck Norris will be as tough as this shell!!" iPad case.

Must-have for Apple Pencil users
Has saved me from losing my Apple Pencil (again). I have a mobile job in and out of homes and was super worried about losing my pencil. It’s been at least 9 months of daily use and this has worked really well., has held up. Stays out of the way. Would highly recommend for keeping track of the Apple Pencil.

Works great for a couple months of daily use!
I purchased this rubber strand as an accessory for my Apple Pencil, and at first, it appeared to be a solid investment. For two months, it served its purpose well, providing the necessary flexibility and support. However, with continuous use, the rubber began to wear down, eventually breaking. While the initial performance was satisfactory, I was disappointed by its lack of durability. If you plan to use it frequently, you might want to consider alternatives. The product does not seem to withstand lots of use, so be mindful of its limitations. Rating: 3/5 stars.

Great, popular with cats
This helps me not lose my Apple Pencil. Nice color and easy set up. My cat loves it too unfortunately so I may need a second one for her to play with.
