I got this at a time that was very difficult for all of us who love our pets to no end. I was able to take a great print of my little buddy's paw the morning that was our last time together.The frame is of good quality, has a simple, nice color and design, and most importantly, provides a lasting memento of a very important family member in my life. The instructions were clear and the tools for making the imprint were helpful.I miss my Norman every day, but I am glad that when I can bear to look at something from him, I have this item.

I wish I didn't have to write this review, because it unfortunately means that I have really lost my best friend of 14 1/2 years. But that is no fault of the manufacturer, of course. As sad as the whole situation has been, this framed paw kit has actually helped a lot in the mourning process, and it has become a treasured memory of my dearly departed dog. I miss him so much, but having this small part of him makes me smile.The "clay" it comes with actually dries to more of a foam consistency and strangely smells very nice. Using it was easy enough and it created a beautiful cast of my dog's paw with no sticking to fur or clay left behind. This was actually a big concern for us, too, as he was a long haired breed.Assembly was very easy, and the final product is simple but beautiful. It would fit in well with any aesthetic. I'm not happy with the circumstances around why I had to buy this, but I am very satisfied with my purchase.

This worked out amazing. My dog passed away, but I managed to get this done, fast. Brought him home from the vet just to do this quickly so he could be put to rest from his pain. You just roll it out on foil, wet the dogs paw, and stamp it down. Easy as that. Then use the ruler to shape. I’m glad I got this, it’s a nice and sweet physical memory. The frame itself is sturdy and nice. I saw mixed reviews on other clay molds on other Amazon suggested. Saying THEIRS, the mold, dried out and was unusable. My worry was that could happen with this one but, it didn’t. Everything was perfect and I have my lifelong memory on my wall now. Highly suggest you purchase with ur sick pet, or, healthy pet!!!!

The instructions were very easy to follow. The clay is also forgivable. We had to re-do my dogs paw print three different times with the same clay, but he last one turned out perfectly. For reference I have a 65lbs standard sized labradoodle (big girl). And there is enough clay to fit her paw. The only reason it is getting 4/5 stars is because it is taking forever to dry. I am on day three, and it is still somewhat soft to the touch, especially on the back. I decided to peel it off the tinfoil and put it on the tree and hopes that the air being able to get to both sides will help dry it out. Also, the circular cut out for the clay is huge, and I don’t think the clay is thick enough if you were to roll it out wide enough to include all of the clay in the circle cut out. That is why ours is more of an organic shape lol. Other than that, it was very easy to use and turned out cute.

I liked that this kit had everything I needed to make a paw print ornament for my pet. I followed the instructions exactly and it turned out great. I only had to roll out the clay material once. There was plenty of the material for me to successfully make the ornament. I made this with my 14 pound dachshund and there was room leftover for me to etch her name and the year on it. It was easy for me to make her imprint with her.This ornament kit doesn't use real clay- it uses some other material that had a strong smell before it dried and it was very lightweight. Since the ornament is pretty large, I do like that it is lightweight so it doesn't weigh down my Christmas tree. I think this kit would make a great gift for someone with a dog or cat who celebrates the holidays with a Christmas tree.

I bought these for a friend whose cat was fading quickly. She was able to make this keepsake a couple days before her cat passed and cherishes it. She said there was no mess and no fuss and didn’t bother her kitty at all. I now have irdered 2 for our kitties…i’ll update when we try with our two very active/opinionated cats!

Of all our dogs, the last one was a love. He was so good and loved us as much as we loved him. Was careful of everything. The only thing we had to teach him was not to pee in the house. And that was easy. Unfortunately, soon after adopting him we found out he had a heart murmur and slightly enlarged heart. 7 years forward, we went for yearly shots. Vet showed us an x-ray and his heart was so enlarged you could not see his trachea and there was more. Vet said he had maybe the weekend. It was difficult, but for him the best was to say goodbye. We have kept his ashes (along with our previous wonderful pooch) to go into our burial vault with us and got this frame to save his pawprint and a picture. It is so lovely to have this remembrance photo and paw print in our office. We did not do the print ourselves as that was the day we decided and I stayed to be with him and then came back with the frame etc, and the vet's office did for us. The vet shared that the print was done after and then the cremation. It is really lovely and a brings back great memories.
