Buffalo Games - Charles Wysocki - Beaver Hat Tavern - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

I have done hundreds of Buffalo Games puzzles and they are my absolute favorites for a lot of reasons :(1) They all have the shaped pieces like I love them : random but not too random, 7 different shaped pieces but never two alike.(2) The interlock is solid but not to the point that you can't tear them apart. Perfect.(3) They always arrive in good condition, no 'heads' are torn, no picture unglued from it's backing.(4) I don't remember having any missing pieces on any puzzle. I see in other reviews that some clients have had that problem, but I never have.(5) I like colorful puzzles and I never have a problem finding some I like from Buffalo Games.(6) There is a poster that comes with the puzzles and said poster is a good size, not like those enormous posters that you often get from other companies where they are so big and unwieldy.(7) The box is small, which is fine because of the poster. It is just the right size for the pieces, no more than is required, so takes less cardboard to make (yea for our ecology) and are easier to store. I don't keep any puzzle with the needlessly large boxes; they just irritate me and I don't have the space for them anyway.(8) And last but not least the price. Most are a very reasonable prices and you sometimes get great deals on top of that.I have recently stopped buying jigsaw puzzles because I bought so much of them during the pandemic and I have tons left to do. However, Buffalo Games is my one exception. I still check those out on Amazon to see if a new one I would really like has recently come out.

There isn't too much to say except that I love Buffalo puzzles. By far this is my favorite artist, but it's the quality of the puzzles that stands out. I put together the same puzzles year after year and they never warp (except the one I spilled water all over!) or peel. I like that the pieces are all a regular size and they click together well, even on the soft surface of our foldable card table that comes out every winter for puzzles. I love that they are made in NY and not China. 5 stars, for sure.

Loved putting this puzzle together until we realized that two of the outside pieces were missing. Have never had this happen with a new puzzle. Very disappointing!

Came as expected, nothing missing. Good pieces that fit together well. Will be buying more from them!
