Buy the extended warranty these work great but don't last
These work great when they work, I have owned 12 of them. I have returned seven for repairs within the one-year warranty. They have not worked consistently. The switch that turns them on stops working, seems to be the biggest problem. When they replaced them the camera they replaced with did not work at all and I missed some really great shots. One of the replacement cameras, I put on my pile of elk bones after hunting season in a known cougar area the bones disappeared within two days and the camera was on and not a single shot picture and never could get the camera to work again, very disappointingThe good side, great pictures, great night shots, long-lasting batteries, for the most part, easy set up, love the large SD cards over the micro-chips.

Great Videos and so Easy to set-up
Finally decided to buy my 3rd Primose Proof 02 camera after buying 6 other trail cameras which I could not set up. So frustrated with these cameras I finally purchased the Primose Proof 02, put batteries & card in, slid indicators to video-length-time laps, put date & time & in 20mins put outside & taking videos. 47 10sec videos 1st night, 22 send night, 37 3rd night & batteries holding.

I would buy another one
I had purchased three before and they are the best. The photo quality is really good, and the battery life is the best I have seen compared to other name brand game cameras. The camera had taken photos at minus 30 degrees, and still stay on, when other name brand cameras will just shut off. I will buy another one for next game season.

very easy to set up
I use it to monitor my garden. Mostly skunks, raccoons, fox, and possums. We think there are bobcats and mtn lions, but haven't seen one yet. I returned different brand because it was impossible to set up. This camera is simple and straight forward. Does the job without fuss and bother.

The Primos 12MP Low Glow Proof Cam was reviewed as one of the easiest to program. I agree.It's a great unit for the money. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive unit.

This would be a great beginners cam for setup
Good video with sound night or day. Pictures are good also and the battery life is really good just use a good battery the cheap stuff is just that cheap.The setup is nice with no problems understanding. I would buy again.

NOT low glow
NOT low glowIt is very very bright IR visible red LED flash. Not low-glow. This means if you use it for security, trespassers, poachers etc, they will easily see the bright red LED flash. Especially if you have it on multi shot "burst" modeOn the up side, having this bright red IR flash results in pretty good night photo resolution. Much clearer than the 940nM, or "black" or "invisible infrared" cameras For the price and the photo clarity, its not a bad deal, but don't expect it to be low-glow at all.

this is your best value for your money I have 2 of them easy to set up takes great pics and batteries last a long time
