Q: can I use 2 of the 12inch zip ties to hang a 150" projector screen weighing 45 lbs? Any thoughts who hung larger weights??

Despite what others have said, I'd try it out. I have literally worked with hundreds of thousands of zip ties rigging stuff up, and while these are for personal use, I don't see them as thst bad. ESPECIALLY for the cost. The heavy duty zip ties you might want can be like $1-2 EACH. Granted those are for if you want zero liability worry, but if you're that concerned why the hell are you using even heavy duty zipties alone? Why not secure with sash every so many feet as well? There is a review about them breaking... I tried one of the 8 inches, yeah I broke it. But it says 22 lbs.... I could probably break an 80+ lb zip tie. Idk. I got em for light duty like securing plywood backing on a utility shelf, and they work great considering each pack size worked out to like $1.75

Q: What is the width of these? 2.5mm? 3.0mm?

The 12” ones measure 2.5mm wide, and the 4” ones measure 2mm wide. I didn’t open the other sizes because the 12” ones were unusably flimsy.

Q: Why does the description say these are resistant to Gold?

Don't know?? They are just plastic Zip-ties, and a good set. Worth the money.

You may need to expand your question a little more. Resistant to gold? Are you trying to paint them gold? Dip them in gold? Trying to zip tie gold together (like gold chains)? I would love to help, but do not understand your question.
