Works great on any foam cutting projects.
I like that you can accurately cut any piece of Styrofoam. The variable temperature setting allows precise cuts without having to worry about excessive melting of the foam. I don't know if it is recommended but I also discovered that on high temperature you can cut plastic if you take your time.

Great value
Very easy to use and quick! It cuts like, well, like a hot knife through butter, which I suppose is the point. I really like that it comes with two gauges of wire, and the table clamp is quite handy if you get a bit creative with how you use it. Be sure to use this in a well ventilated area and/or with an appropriated mask - the fumes are quite nasty to your health.

Works well for hobbies
The hand held device it's rechargeable and convenient to use for small scale hobbies around the house. Use In well Ventilated area because of the chemicals in melted foam. For large scale projects , I wouldn't recommend using this on them, You would need a table mounted version.

Very effective for cutting styrofoam
Just as described. I gave a 4 star because I would have liked an option to order and add on the wire filament attachment but that doesn’t seem to be possible. It heats up quickly and cuts like butter.

Heats Up Fast/ Stays Hot
The feel is of cheaply made plastic. It won't put up with dropping or careless use. Other than that, it works fine.The unit heats up fast and stays hot through the cutting process. It also cools down fast. Comes in a cardboard box but the box has a foam cutout for the tool and it's bits to fit snugly in.

Never Worked!! DO NOT RECOMMEND
My Foam Cutter never worked out of the box and I am unable to get a return or refund.This isn't cool. 0/5 stars if I could.

Foam cutter has been a lifesaver
Has been my go to tool for cutting and shaping foam Christmas projects. Have used it for foam insulation for a out building. Made job quick and easy

Not sure
I was expecting a very sturdy product. The U shape tool has to be assembled and it didn't work for me. One of the tools broke when i was cutting foam. I had returned the product. Not sure which one to order next time.
