👍. The range of what u can see looking thru peep hole is wide and the crystal inside makes it easy to determine what your looking at, not the least bit blurry, crystal clear. Highly Recommend.

I actually bought four of these, plus the hole saw that was recommended. With a very little bit of elbow grease, each one took maybe 15 minutes to install . If you don’t dither and mess about, you could probably do it in less than 10.Just take a minute and figure how you want it to be, there’s no going back. One thing to consider is to take into account the shortest adult in the family so she can see out too.This is a good product, well-made and with clear optics, Would buy again.

I bought a front door at Habitat Restore and needed a nice black peeper. You never know when you measure if you got the right fit, but I did and it worked well. The carpenter wasn't sure at first, had to make a small adjustment and it is installed. I like the quality of the material, cost, and really love the matte black.

A 1 inch hole has to be drilled in the door

This was the 4th one I purchased b/c of sizing issues. So on this final purchase, I took it a part and switched out my old scratched lens from this one. (I basically recycled the old hardware; polishing it up). My ingenuity paid off b/c I didn't want to mess with drilling a slightly bigger hole. It fit and I can see out the peep hole clearly. It has a good optical range as well.

It takes a larger hole saw to retrofit this peephole into a standard door, but the results are worth it. I upgrade my contractor grade brass peephole to this nickel one and my door looks dressier, higher quality. My contractor installed it in less than five minutes.
