Honest opinion..
I saw these everywhere at one point and all I’ve gotta say is, I was a bit disappointed. They tasted like plastic. I was so bummed. I really wanted to like these!

Firm texture with subtle flavor.
Got these at a Japanese marketplace. Tried strawberry which is advertised as being fruity. The fruitiness is very subtle. They are fairly large cubes which do not fit through a boba tea straw, which is actually a good thing because they are quite firm and could possibly be a choking hazard if sucked up and not chewed. I put them in my iced tea and would have to fish them out with a fork or skewer. I liked them, but not sure I’d repurchase as they were not very flavorful and I felt they were limited in what you could use them in. I wasn’t a fan of just eating them from the pouch. Packaging is adorable and there’s quite a bit which I transferred to a glass container and slowly ate off of for over a week.
