Quality case. the dvd drive fit right in with no problems. the storage pockets inside are a nice touch to the case. the case appears to be pretty solid and should protect my new DVD player well.

Great purchase for the money! This is a very good quality product. It’s a nice sturdy hard case that has ample room for your external DVD player. I purchased this product because it has tons of room and padding for the device itself as well as two extra pockets for cords, cases(only cd cases fit, not DVD) I thought that my device would have a removable cord and needed the extra room for it but it doesn’t so I guess I’m stuck with a great product and lots of room to grow into!! Highly recommend this product!!

The DVD player/writer is good. Works well so far. I'm a fan of the lightness of the drive for travel. I haven't yet tested it with our Samsung Smart TV to see if the TV mode works as well. The set up was unnecessarily convoluted....partly due to LG's not being upfront that the DVD the comes with the driver has nothing to do with the driver working or with LG AND with Microsoft having a different VLC version on the app store..... 1. LG should put in the written instruction insert that the DVD that comes with it is NOT necessary to use the drive. The implication/stated instructions are to install the software to use the drive. NOT needed and the Cyberlink DVD is full of promotional software for a free PowerDVD player trial for 1 month then they are trying to charge to use it. NOT NEEDED. I recommend NOT installing the disc but throwing it way (and LG customer service confirmed when I called that the disc is purely promotional software). 2. THERE IS NO SOFTWARE that comes with the drive. VLC is the player that LG will direct you to in order to play content. Not a problem as I use VLC anyway, but my new computer with Windows 10 was the culprit this time.... **Windows 10 tip: don't get the VLC player through the microsoft store app but go to the www.videolan.org website and get the 3.0.5 version download directly (windows 64-bit download). You can then put VLC as the default app to play content the the drive works like a dream. Summary: 1. DON'T install the software from the disc that comes with the drive (ALL promotional from cyberlink) 2. Go the the VLC website directly to get the correct app as the Microsoft Store version doesn't work. Hope this helps. There are some of these recs on other reviews that I tried to follow but ended up having to call LG anyway. Perhaps this will save some others some time.

This is a great case. The overall quality is amazing and it fits my lg blu ray player like a glove. There is room to store cables inside the case, and it comes with a short carrying strap that clips on. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a good case to protect my Apple Superdrive and this one fit the bill perfectly. The drive is kept securely with elastic fabric, and there's a separate spacious pocket for other items. A really useful item.

Really like this cd storage bag. It’s very neat looking and includes a carry strap that can be attached to a metal loop attached on the outer surface and that’s rigid and strong. The surface of the product is smooth and I think waterproof to some degree. Inside there is plenty of room for my CD which fits perfectly. There is room for cd discs. I have a series of cd’s for a language course so now my cd and discs all in one place; also the recharge cable. Everything is protected and the case has a good quality zip around zip. I recommend and so pleased because I had been carrying my cd player without protection. Very pleased.

I kontrast till vad som anges i produktannonsen är detta fodral inte lämpligt att förvara en Apple USB Superdrive i! Sladden till Apple USB Superdrive sitter, tillskillnad från många på många andra DVD-spelare, permanent fast på enheten. För att kunna försluta fodralet måste man böja sladden vid sladdfästet så mycket att detta riskerar att knäcka sladdfästet och/eller ha sönder sladden. Passar säkert till andra DVD-spelare där sladden är avtagbar men avråder från att köpa detta fodral till din Superdrive!

The product iself is nice and worth the value. However the one I received has a very nasty smell of cigarette smoke. I don't know if is where it was stored or is the material chemical, however is not usable for now.
