My experience with this product was an absolute nightmare. This was my first time making beeswax candles, so I read everything I could find about how to do it and then spent hours choosing the supplies I needed to buy to make them. I made my choices based on price and reviews. After reading hundreds of reviews on different candle wick products, I chose this kit because it had everything in it I needed and it had good reviews.I was excited about making candles and followed the process step-by-step, including the part about the wick. I used the sticky pads included in the kit and attached the tabbed wicks to the bottom of the jars, used the metal holders on the rims to keep the wicks straight. Then I poured the wax into the jars. That is when the nightmare began. As soon as I poured the wax in, the wicks started to bend and basically fell apart. When I tried to straighten them up, the metal tab separated from the wick. The sticky pads that were supposed to anchor the tabbed wicks, didn't stay stuck, so the pads, metal tabs and wicks were basically floating around in the wax. I dumped the ruined wax back into the pot before it started to harden up, cleaned the jars as best as I could, and repeated the whole process using glue and/or tape to stick the wicks to the bottom of the jars. What a mess. It took me most of the day to make 10 small candles when it should have only taken a couple of hours. Out of ten candles, only 2 turned out with the wick straight and in the middle of the candle.My whole day was ruined and my DIY project, which should have been a fun thing, turned into one big long mess all because your product failed to do what you claimed it was supposed to. I should have been able to trust that your product would hold up. I still intend to make more candles but not with your product. I WOULD NOT recommend this product to anyone.

Nice kit but wicks are to thin.

Secure wicks better before use
Shipping on time. Having problems with wicks staying in the metal thing and the stickers they came with don’t stick that well. Just make to secure wick before pouring wax. Other than that no complaints.

wicks pull out
Wicks pull out of their metal base as soon as you pour the candle wax in. It was so awful I'll never make candles again. Cheaply made product
