Size:8 Ounce (Pack of 1) Also known as Mist and Cloud tea, this green tea is harvested in an altitude smothered in clouds, which rarely sees beyond the surface mist. One can only imagine the characteristics this must play on the growers cultivating in this mystical environment. We'd like to think that this climate plays a role in the unique characteristics transferred in each steeping of our organic, fair trade yun wu. Aside from the relationship we have with sourcing this tea, we selected this green tea because of its light pleasant flavor with a slight sweetness in the finish. It steeps a light golden jade colored infusion. Green tea steeping time and temperature varies with different tea. The hottest steeping temperatures are 81 to 87 °C (178 to 189 °F) water and the longest steeping times two to three minutes. The coolest brewing temperatures are 61 to 69 °C (142 to 156 °F) and the shortest times about 30 seconds.

Excellent w/ Lemon Juice
Like another reviewer said, it's not great and it's not bad. I'm a (former) Teavana store shopper and would buy the Emperor's Cloud and Mist that Starbucks still sells (in drink form) in the store. It was what I knew and liked, so I was hoping to find something similar. I'm not a tea expert, but this Yun Wu green tea had a strange aftertaste. What I ended up doing was putting some Santa Cruz lemon juice in my travel mug every morning, then the tea, and it tastes so much better! I may even buy more of this brand while testing out some others.

A pale imitation of Starbucks Clouds and Mist
I'm addicted to Starbucks Clouds and Mist tea, and was hoping to buy the leaves directly. While this is cheaper than buying Starbucks bags, there's no comparing the quality - this tea looks pale and stale, with a lot of broken leaves and some stems, compared to the shiny Starbucks whole leaf. It doesn't taste like much, and it doesn't perk me up after I drink it. The Starbuck's offering is actually called "Emperor's Clouds and Mist"...the Emperor's not drinking this stuff. Maybe the court jester.

Perfect teavana replacement!
Bought as a replacement to the defunct Teavana Emperor's Cloud and Mist. If it isn't exactly the same tea as Teavana was using I don't know what is. Love it!

Awesome Shipping, Excited for Loose Leaf
Hello! So I have just ordered this tea, and it came pretty early. My estimated shipping was the 15th-20th. Great timing on their part! The tea comes double bagged in a sealed foil bag, and a (assuming) plastic one. It looks nice! It arrived in a bubblewrap package of awesome. I haven't tested it out yet, but I plan to starting on my next break. I'll be coming back to update on how it tastes, and how much I used for my first few cups. ;) I am planning to brew it in my french press. It looks good, and I can't wait to open it.Edit: This tea smells refreshing. It's a light, herbal-y, earthy tea smell. It's not a sweet tea, though it isn't bitter. It's more like... you know how citrus can be kinda "bitter/sour"? It's like that. A bit of sugar in a cup hit the sweet spot for my boyfriend. A dash of creamer made it delish for me! ;) I used a tablespoon per cup of just under boiling water and steeped for 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Enjoy!

Love it. I searched on "Cloud and Mist green ...
Love it. I searched on "Cloud and Mist green tea" because I'd been buying a tea under that name at about twice the price from a local tea shop, and found this. Glad to be able to get it because my budget couldn't accommodate what I was paying before. I don't know if it's a really premium tea, but it's worlds better than the Tazo green and similar bag tea I'd been getting at the health food store. I've ordered it several times, and I'll keep buying as long as the price doesn't climb. Shipping was reasonable, too.

Not Teavana, but good taste
This tea is good, but does not rise to the taste level of the Teavana offering of the same name. Good value for a daily tea.

You get what you pay for. Not great, but not bad.
It's average green tea, but the price is right.Package had a misspelling of "cloud" as "clound" in the title. Nice.Smell is mild and grassy.Taste is light and bland. Not bad, but not up to the standards of some other nice full leaf greens.Hard to trust that there's no bad chemicals, since no "organic" markings on the package, despite the description saying "organic".
