I dyed my hair purple, and discovered that there is no permanent hair dye that stays purple. I saw this in a local health and beauty aids store (for twice what they charge here!), and decided to give it a try. After all, my white roots were starting to show. I used this and the matching shampoo and haven't looked back. No one can tell that I dyed my hair six months ago, and have have five inches of roots. The shampoo and conditioner work just like any other shampoo and conditioner, but keep your hair the color you want. This comes in many colors. Obviously, I chose purple.The only gotcha is that you MUST use rubber gloves when you wash your hair! The shampoo and conditioner are a deep purple, almost black, and love to dye skin. I put on a pair or gloves and fasten it with a hair elastic on each wrist, which does the job. The first time I tried it, I had purple hands for two days, despite constant scrubbing.Still well worth the money and the little bit of bother with the rubber gloves. I get compliments every time I go out, telling me how great my hair looks. The conditioner has kept my hair very shiny, so people tell me it doesn't even look dyed, it's so healthy-looking.

I can’t explain enough how much I love this product. I am someone who can’t decide if I want to be blonde or brunette. So I had blonde hair and I got a ton of low lights because I wanted to be brunette with some blonde. Well then I decided for the winter I want to be a full brunette however I did not want to have to bleach my hair again in six months. So I found this product and I’ve been using it to keep my Brunette fresh and I love the color. It keeps the tone cool and cancels out any red which is exactly what I wanted. when I am ready to go back to blonde instead of having to re lighten everything I can just stop using this product. Also maybe I want to try a different tone when this bottle runs out. The color is gorgeous . These pictures are before and after using this product.

I long for silvery/cool-toned platinum hair. Normal purple shampoos never really did what I was hoping for. However, I’ve seen beautiful pastel lavender hair and figured it was worth a shot! I can have light purple hair and (hopefully) it’ll fade to an icy blonde. I cannot express how impressed I am by this product! It smells AMAZING and left my hair smelling so good. I applied it to dry hair and rinsed after about 5 minutes. I went in sections because my hair is very thick and I was worried the color might become too vibrant if left on for too long - spoiler alert, I realized it is totally fine to leave on longer. I didn’t use gloves, I didn’t change out of my favorite shirt, I used a new yellow hand towel, and nothing is stained expect for my hair! I am in awe of the color and how quickly the product changed my look (I’ve included one picture of my hair prior to application (professionally highlighted, with natural hair at my roots) and two pictures of the color). I did use an entire bottle - as mentioned, my hair is very thick, and I wanted to ensure everything was well-coated. I ordered another bottle for maintenance! I am interested to see how long the color lasts. I might update this post with the fading process. Overall, the color is subtle and so pretty! It does appear more purple in certain lighting (like in my bathroom), but for the most part, it’s soft and subtle.UPDATE - The color is much lighter after one wash. It’s more of a silvery, light purple. I suspect that one more wash will remove most of the purple.

I bought the Purple and the Raspberry Rush because my daughters (twins, age 8) wanted to dye their hair pink and purple but I didn't want to damage their hair. Their hair is a dark blonde, especially at the ends where I was applying it. I applied to dry hair like I had read in the reviews and left for about 10 min. The Raspberry Rush was definitely pink. I knew it was going to be by the way it stained my hands. BE SURE TO USE GLOVES!!! I didn't have any so I knew what I was in for. However, the purple was... just ok. It did not stain my hands and washed off easily. It actually helped remove some of the pink that was there. I applied the purple for a second round on warm damp hair and left it another 10 minutes. I rinsed and dried and while I liked it (it was super low-key), my daughter was hoping for a little more WOW. I went in a third time with the Raspberry on her dry hair, left for another 10 minutes, rinsed and dried. It came out very fuchsia and she was extremely happy.Take-aways:USE GLOVES unless you like looking like you "murdered a pink smurf" as my daughter said.Raspberry, and I am assuming brighter colors, work better than the purple, darker colorsThe purple isn't bad, it is very low key. I might use it for myself.IT WILL STAIN EVERYTHING, including the bathtub and the towel.

Left the light pink on my daughter’s medium blonde hair for 10 minutes but it didn’t color at all. Maybe her hair was too dark, not sure. If it’s not super bleached blonde it doesn’t seem to work.Dark pink was left for 5 minutes and it looks great! This picture is after a couple washes, it was much brighter when first done.HOT PINK WILL STAIN EVERYTHING. HANDS, TUB, TOWELS, ITS ON YHE TOILET SEAT SOMEHOW!
