The good:The finctionality of the lid is probably a 4 star. It is easy to open and close. It keeps the drink from spilling.The bad:You can't get it clean. Somehow the liquid can get past the seals and under the track that the opener slides on. If sumberge the lid, you can soak liquid into that resevoir and swish it around. This worked to clean it once or twice. Then, I didn't get to washing my cup and lid until the end of the day one time and now I can't get that coffee washed out.

Complete Disappointment
What a disappointment this turned out to be. The first day, this sealed and operated just fine. After the second use, though, the tabs in the tracks that hold the slider in place just broke off and the slider fell out and off. The tab legs were molded paper thin. It is sad that the design for slider retention is so poor because for the short time that the slider worked, it sealed the lid great. But lasting only two days gets the product a "1"...only because there is no "0."

Problems have a few months.
Very good product. Fits my Yiti perfectly. Prevents spills. Hasn't leaked at all. Sometimes I have to work hard to get it off as it fits so tightly. Highly recommend this product.I have now had this product for several months. It still fits and prevents spills, but it is impossible to completely clean. There's what appears to be mold inside the channel where the opening's cover slides back. I have soaked it in everything I can think of and it won't come out.

Long live the new lid! Update: there are too many things living in my lid :(
Update: somehow bits of your drink get in between the slider and top, where you can't clean. There is now a little world living in the lids with no way to clean it (photo). Scary. It's too bad since it fis and seals well.I bought this lid to replace the broken one on my Britium 30 oz. tumbler. I wasn't sure it would fit but it does. It is so much better than the original lid, as the slider is solid and doesn't collect gunk like the old one plus it seems to be of better quality. I can't speak to the longevity of the lid but I am hopeful.

It works!
I needed a lid for my 36oz Yeti Rambler Cup that didn't spill. So far this works great. I tested it at home by filling my cup w/ water, putting the lid on with the slider open, closing the slider, & turning the whole thing upside down. It didn't leak & the seal is tight. In fact, I can't take the lid off without opening the slider. I've washed the lid a few times & have not had a problem w/ water staying in the slider. I love my Yeti, but didn't love that I couldn't close the lid & spilled my water if it tipped.

It fits the cup nicely and it created a good seal. The only problem I have had with the lid is the area that slides open/closed. Keeping this area clean is impossible. I've tried soaking it in bleach, scrubbing with a tooth brush etc and I can't get the "gunk" out. My husband likes to drink Gatorade, sweet tea or iced coffee from his cup which are sugary and cleaning up is too difficult. If you're a clean freak then I would not recommend this lid.

THIS is the lid that you want!
THIS is the lid that you want! I have tried other slider-closure lids, but THIS one is the best. The slider slides very smoothly, and completely seals the openings. Really a well-made top. On the other slider-closure lids that I have tried, the slider becomes very loose and doesn't stay in place. THIS lid's slider stays in place. Nice!

Mine Leaks around cap
The design is great but the cap leaks. Not around the sliding spout but around the lid. Made quite a mess on my smartphone and a chair.Again, this is a nice design and I hate the "one star" rating, buy MINE leaked. I would love to try another at no cost to me. I could then update my review.
