Great Sword at a Great Price
I am impressed with the quality of the sword for the price when I purchased it ($6+). I would be hard pressed to find one locally or at a store that would come close to the cost and look of it. It's detailed on the blade and has a sturdy feel in the hand. This sword would mainly be used for costume and cosplay purposes, and for that it's well worth it. I'm not sure how long it will last if you actually try to use it for training or go hard with physical contact but for waving around and in looks/feel, it's difficult to argue against it.

It's a plastic sword for 7 dollars.
I keep buying these for my guys at work. The HR lady asked me to knock it off several times but we haven't even gotten hurt that bad yet, and the swords are holding up nicely.

Are These Refurbs or New
Excited to finally get the sword. I open the package (mind you it's not shipped in any kind of container to safeguard the sword) when to my surprise the sword it is clearly bent (and badly bent). Annoyed I force the blade in the opposite direction to straighten it out. It mostly works.Back to the sword that is "safely shipped" in a regular clear plastic bag (as a sheath). I start to inspect it and find there is very small cut/smashed part in the blade on one side (where the bend is). So maybe in a warehouse or shipping something was stacked on it and damaged the "hard plastic"... On top of that I flip it over and on the other side there is about a quarter inch by quarter inch dig on blade. Not deep but clearly dug/scrapped out. Mind you this was all inside the plastic bag sheath which wasn't damaged in the least. So "refurb" or "new". That's pretty clear. I got someone else's toy that they played around with. Now for the rest of the review. Despite all that I find I really do like the sword. It really is pretty sturdy. So I'm surprised at the how it ended up in the shape that it was on arrival. After a few days playing around with it, I'm still thrilled with this purchase. The price was great ($7) and the product feels nice and balanced that I can easily swing it around. This plastic does feel rather reliable and I really can't complain. If I comes back in stock I will probably try purchasing another 3 or 4 and beat them into the condition I got this one in.

Great For Costume Prop
Great sturdy sword. Used it for Halloween to be Leonardo while my son was Michelangelo. He even uses these still to this day just to be Leo himself.

Solid, simple fun
Bought this for my son before he did a ninja-themed summer camp. Two months later, it’s a tossup whether he or I have had more fun with it. It is simple to assemble, solid, just flexible and soft enough not to do any permanent damage, but has enough substance to it that it’s much more fun than a foam play sword. Good for imaginative ten-year-olds whether they’re actually ten or hiding in a 40-year-old’s body.
