Cute and Easy to use
My first trainer, was a little heavy at first but it’s so fun to mess with and learned some tricks with it. I have gotten many compliments. very sturdy and love the pattern.

Exactly what I needed
This butterfly knife trainer exceeded my expectations. It has a solid, weighty feel that makes it perfect for practicing tricks, and the build quality is excellent. After two months of regular use, it still works flawlessly with no signs of wear. A reliable, well-made trainer that makes practice both safe and fun

Functional cheap practice tool
Functional, great practice, and good quality for the price. Would recommend over any of the other cheap plastic stuff. When you want a nice one, buy a nabalis canyon.

Pleasantly Surprised
Wow, I really wasn't expecting much from this, but I'm pleasantly surprised for a few reasons. I didn't spend much to buy this trainer and received what I perceive to be a quality product in return. The trainer is sturdy, seems well made to me, and comes with a pouch. As a longtime folding knife collector but new to balisongs, I wanted to get something to learn tricks. Rather than spending as much for a trainer as I could on a new knife (see Kershaw, Benchmade, Squid Industries, and even Flytanium), I spent less than I would have on my quad shot Starbucks drink.I don't know how this brand and item compare to those mentioned above, but it's a good starting point for me. I hope this lasts long enough (it seems like it will) before I get my hands on a Kershaw Lucha.

Okay Practice Trainer, but Needs Some Breaking In
I picked up the silver version of the VORNNEX Practice Butterfly Knife Trainer a while ago, and it's been an okay option for practicing. The build quality is decent—it's a full-metal knife, so it feels solid in the hand, but it has a bit of a downside. One of the hinges tends to stick sometimes, which makes flipping the knife a little tricky. It took some time to get the hinge worn down so it would move smoothly, which was a bit annoying at first. The knife is pretty heavy, which is something to keep in mind if you're just starting out. If you don't hold it properly, it can hurt your hands after a while. The full metal construction gives it a sturdy feel, but that weight can really put a strain on your hands, especially when you're flipping for an extended period. It's a decent practice trainer for the price, but the sticking hinge and the weight can be a bit frustrating, especially for beginners. Once you get the hinge worked in and get used to the weight, it works fine, but it might take a little time to get there. The silver color adds a nice sleek touch to it as well.

Better than average Balisong trainer
Two days ago, I could do the basic double roll out opening/closing, and nothing more. Learned it as a kid (long, long time ago). Then I started playing with a butterfly beer opener and decided I'd like a real trainer because the bottle opener's balance seemed wrong, and there's a ton of play in the joints. So, I researched and ordered this VORNNEX.First impression: For $15, the materials are good. Balance is much better than what I had before (but I don't have a lot to compare to) -- it's probably slightly handle heavy, but that seems ok for now. The only problem I have is that I can't put it down and the edges are not smooth, and the pins sticking up near the base of the blade have very sharp edges. The result is that after 24h, my hand feels pretty beat up and sore.Progress: In the 24h I've owned this trainer, I've learned verticals and basic rollout openings both regular and inverted, orbit, ice pick, latch drop, backhand twirl, quick draw, Y2K roll, some sort of finger roll that makes an infinite combo with the Y2K, and maybe a couple other things. In short, it works!Recommendations: Get out your Dremmel or a file and smooth all the sharp edges on the insides of the handle scales, blade edges, and tips of exposed pins. Then get back to practice.Other people have said this is a heavy knife. I agree that it's not light, but I don't think that's a problem. Extra momentum means you can do moves more slowly, which is easier when you're a beginner. I do wish it was 10" overall though, instead of 9" (~10 inch knives seem to be most popular with flippers).
