Terrible Product
I purchased this brand because they had an outdoor POE mesh extender. It wouldn’t connect to my existing Linksys mesh system, so I purchased this system to be compatible with the outdoor extender.I have cat 6 ethernet interconnecting cable to each device, but the system crashes every few days.I also connected it wirelessly and it does the same this . . . constantly crashing. When this happens, I can watch my phone and/or computer connect and disconnect every 10 seconds or so.After rebooting the entire system it’ll work again for 1-3 days. The power is stable throughout the day and night at 122-124 volts and my fiber to ethernet modem stays online and doesn’t need rebooting, though I have tried that also. The engineers need to go back to the drawing board!I’ll be returning all of these as soon as I find something else to replace them with.P.S.I worked 37 years with IT, instrumentation and analytical networks. So I know what I’m doing.

Excellent Mesh System, Just a Couple Years Too Late
In the end, I still rate this as five stars as the price is right for what you're essentially getting: Two AC/WiFi 5 routers. What I mean by too late is that now we are transitioning into WiFi 6 (been since 2019 actually), and there are now AX/WiFi 6 Mesh systems for just a little more money. So, my honest opinion is to spend a little more to future-proof your networking. With that said, everything worked great for me. I live in a small apartment, but there is a dead spot on my balcony, as I place my main router in the farthest bedroom. Therefore, I tested the second router by placing the it at the other end of the apartment, nearest to the balcony. And it's been working great. Initial setup, and maintenance, is done through the Wavlink app, and it was a breeze. I made sure to put the two routers together during initial setup just so I can get a strong connection, and then moved them into their final destinations once I was done. The second router connected to the main one at 3/5th of the signal strength, but that was more than enough to cover my whole apartment. I have really thick concrete walls in certain areas of the apartment, which leads to the dead spot in the balcony, so your connections will vary based on the floor plan of your home. If it's mainly wood, you shouldn't have a hard time to cover up to 3,000 square feet, although of course take that claim with a grain of salt. I'm guessing it should do fine up to 2,000sqft.In the end, it's an excellent system, but as I said earlier, you should look into WiFi 6/AX systems instead.

Fills in dead zones, but some problems with continued connectivity...
We've had connectivity problems in our house, with the modem in the basement and the upper floors not getting a strong wi-fi signal, especially for video-streaming. This WAVLINK Mesh WiFi System (2 units) has solved that problem. Now, we still have some wrinkles to work out. Sometimes, one (the one furthest from the modem) turns "red" (not connected), while the other one is "blue" (connected). I usually have to power the non-functioning unit off, then on again, and in a minute it boots up. But it is frustrating, since I've come to depend on constant, uninterrupted signals. At least the signal strength has improved around the house!

Good WiFi mesh system but could be better.
After using this WiFi Mesh system for a while now I find it works well most of the time but have had signal drop outs more than I’d expect. Signal range is better than other Mesh systems I’ve used or using regularly.

super easy setup, good strength
I've had to install 2 routers this month (long story), and this one was super easy (much easier than the other). Super simple to get it up and running. I was slightly surprised that I couldn't position the two units further away from each other **but** I put one at the "one third" and one at the "two thirds" mark in my house and that was close enough for them to reach. And the good news is the light on top changed color, making it immediately clear when the signal was strong, so it only took me 15 seconds to find a better location. We have probably ~10 devices connected to the wifi and run the output cable through a a 16-port ethernet switch (of which 12 are in use because we have a tecchie home) and it handles everything without a hitch. Recommended.
