PERFECT! LOVE IT!
I use this for my hobby projects. Mainly in my Escape Room. This works perfect. Sure you have to know a bit to wire it up and set up the sd card. But its not hard. And this works great! I own and use about 12x of these now.

Just what I needed for a project.

Very cool board! Works great as long as you stay at or below 192kb/s MP3.
I also use the Wav Trigger, which has more versatile triggering modes and plays multiple tracks at once. But, if you just want one track at a time playing, this works great. I tried out various MP3 encoding and it works reliably up to 192kb/s. Starts to click and pop higher settings. Variable bit rate was able to go higher than this at the top end, but impossible to test thoroughly. Stick with a codec that will not go higher than 192kb/s at any time.
