Sturdiwheat Pancake Mix, Original, 30 Lb Package

I eat Buckwheat pancakes at least once a week . First time buying this brand . This 30 pound mix should last at least a year or so . I put ten pounds of it into a plastic container and the rest sits in the original plastic bag it came in the back part of my Refrigerator . I must say that this is the best add only water Pancake mix I have ever used . The mix rises very well and also , you can see the Buckwheat Specs . ( Just like Vanilla bean specs you see in ice cream ) Since , real Vanilla Extract has been so expensive along with other 's lately , I have been using all of my Liquors sitting in my shelf instead .Such as Anisette , Biscotti Almond , Amaretto, Galliano , Frangelico, Kahlua , just to name a few . I just add a few drops of these Liquors to change up the flavor . Yes , I do top them off with a touch of Real Butter and yes, Real Maple Syrup . It would be easier to handle if they sold six 5 pound bags in one 30 pound box ! That's just a suggestion ! Sometimes , you just have to live a little and enjoy life !!! Good Luck !

This is the 3td product we have tried. Had this brand with friends in Wisconsin. Fell in love with the taste. Had to order a large box to get the cost down per pancake. Delicious. Best on the market.

I would buy this wonderful mix when we'd visit Minnesota. It was always on hand when we lived there but I couldn't find it since moving to the Pacific NW. It's just 2 of us so I've re-packaged it using my food saver. A few minutes work & I'm set for the year. The mix is added in equal parts with water-couldn't be easier.The result is the most delicious pancakes and waffles,nubby with soy grits and extra wheat layers. I've gifted friends with Sturdiwheat Mix in the past. Now it's a gift to myself that I can order with"1 click" and have it at my door. Thank You.

Don't really find Buckwheat pancake mix in our local stores. We had been purchasing my dad a different brand. When he ran out & we saw this, even though this is a huge amount, it was a much better deal over the small bags we had been purchasing. He likes the flavor of this Sturdiwheat brand mix over what we had been purchasing. When this arrived it is just the mix in 1 large bag that fills the shipping box & a bad photo copied nutrition / mixing instructions sheet. We repackaged this into several gallon baggies to make storage easier then keeping in this 1 large bag. This should keep him in Buckwheat pancakes for a long, long time. When he eventually runs out we will be getting this for him again.

I use this to make low sodium waffles. Great flavor, and slightly more crunchy than regular waffles.

I made an assumption that this box would contain smaller bags of product. Nope. This is a giant bag of pancake mix! I simply re-bagged in smaller portions. This isn't the fault of the seller... just my assumption. The product itself is wonderful. Pancakes and waffles made with this are enjoyed by everyone I have ever shared them with. This beats out any grocery store mix, and even home-made recipes I have tried. If you don't run a restaurant, you may want to consider a smaller package. :)

It was busted open inside of a crushed box none of it was usable wasted money

I have gone to a strict low sodium diet but did not want to give up my pancakes. I had read the reviews and pulled the trigger. I had my fingers crossed because I bought the 30 pound bag. I was not disappointed! I have found if you want to make them even better add some Stevia Vanilla Creme drops.
