Gift to my son who is very pleased

I'm taking voice lessons and it will help me greatly in learning lots of songs that I truly enjoy!! I wished they had a CD with it!! It would be so nice!!!

This is a really good book to play to. If you're not advanced enough to follow the songs note by note (like me), you can at least get the chord structures down and go from there. It's really nice and there is a huge variety of hits.

Huge disappointment. Received it yesterday. Today it's in the donation pile.

Trying to teach myself to play the piano. This book gives me incentive to try harder songs and notes. This book has a lot of my favorite songs in between the covers.

You definitely get your $$s worth with this book for the number of tunes, but the arrangements are not so great. I understand (to a degree) why piano arrangements include the vocal line within the accomp, but I wish someone would publish piano sheet music in the same manner as the "play it like it is" guitar tab books. Guitar tab books are almost ridiculous in their attention to detail and this book publishes Van Halen's "Jump" with the vocal line mixed in with the keyboard riff. That's just dumb.

I LOVE THE BOOK

Paper is far too lightweight making page turning a nightmare in live situations. I'd suggest photocopying the music you need and leaving the book at home.
