Items are about 4 inches long and very dull... better off using a butter knife, and their size makes them questionable as even a display item.

Great little tools
I started pen-paling recently and wanted to use a letter opener for my letters so I don't tear up the envelopes as I open them, and because some are actually harder to open from all the decorations and washi tape they use. Well so far these have worked great and its nice that it comes in a pack of 3 because I seem to already have misplaced 2 of them.

Love the look, but…
The look of these are beautiful and I love them, but they aren’t sharp enough to open the envelopes. They either won’t rip the paper or it gets all bundled up and makes the envelope get ripped up in pieces.

These are small
Pay attention to the size as these are small and the edges are not sharp enough, they tend to rip the envelope if you don't hold them just right. They are very decorative so I kept them.
