Super big & durable umbrella! A good purchase worth the money-

This what I was hoping for. Taking it out for its first foray as a sun shade for myself during a disc golf tournament tomorrow. Cant wait.

I purchased the G4Free Extra Large Golf Umbrella because my son and I walk to and from school and work in the Midwest sun, about 2 miles every day. When the sun is out and it is humid, it's brutal. Ever since we started walking with this golf umbrella, it's made an amazing difference. The shade it produces is generous and effective. I can angle it such that we are protected from the harsh midday sun from head to toe. It's ample size allows my son and I to walk side by side or single file. The design is great in windy conditions. With wind gusts upwards of 15mph, you may get some inversion but that's a feature not a flaw. Point the umbrella against the gust and it corrects itself handsfree. Usually. The handle is very comfortable and provides a solid grip. Enough real estate on the handle to get two hands on it securely during high winds. The opening mechanism works great and has never let us down. One hand, one touch opening. Closing the umbrella takes more force: two hands, pulling towards you at the handle until it clicks. My 11yo has a difficult time closing it. It comes with a carrying sleeve with a shoulder strap which I used for a while until a hasty stow in the sleeve messed up the tie-arounds that keep the umbrella wrapped tight. Caused a tear, but it's more cosmetic and does not affect functionality. It's heavy, especially in windy conditions, but that's what I love about it. A bit of upper body conditioning as we walk. I could not have survived the Midwest seasons (sun, rain, wind, snow) without this beautiful umbrella. People really love it too, when we pass them, we get a lot of comments on how it's an awesome umbrella! Its size is really commanding and the reflective finish does a fine job of keeping UV rays away, so it's a health and wellness thing if you do a lot of outdoor walking. I truly love this umbrella. It isn't indestructible though. But it took a +25mph gust to cause one of the ribs to break off clean at the top notch. It got sheared off. I still use it regardless and just manually place the rib inline when I open and close the umbrella. Come spring next year, I will order a new one of this exact umbrella. Absolutely love and don't ever leave home without!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We got this umbrella for long days at the baseball fields, and it’s been awesome. It’s huge—plenty of shade me and even our dogs. It holds up really well in the wind (which is saying something), and the square shape gives more coverage than a regular round umbrella. It pops open easily and feels really sturdy. We keep it in the car now and use it all the time. Totally worth it for games, park days, or anytime we’re sitting out in the sun.

I was looking for a big umbrella to use when taking my dog outside. I love the large size and it seems to be made really well. It is really easy to open by just pushing a button on the handle. My only complaint is that it's a little hard to get it to lock into place when trying to shut the umbrella. You have to close it really quickly for the lock to catch. I have pinched my fingers trying to get it to stay closed.

Love this thing. It's large enough for three people easy. Definitely has been sturdy in windy situations as well. Highly recommended!

Love the color and shape

The umbrella functions as shown, but the durability is questionable. As usual with stuff from Amazon its a non-descript umbrella from a non-descript seller send out of an non-descript warehouse. There is no communication other then the usual infromationless mails from amazon and then the box arrives, on time, sure. But when you open the box the disapointment instantly hits: its exactly as pictured, but at the same time a whole lot less. The handle is a little bit loose, after using it twice it doenst exactly close anymore, the velcro straps start to stick a little less and overal there is play on all the mechanical bits. Its is an umbrella, but it is clearly designed to work for as short a periode of time as possible. Its like a meal from Mc Donalds, you look forward to it, the first bite is good, at the second your doubts start and when you finish the meal you regret it. 15 minutes later you are hungry again. It had no function other then a fleeting moment of gratification. This umbrella is exactly that. But at 29 euro's you then think, what the heck, i'll order another one. And this is why we keep on buying shit form the most awefull company in the world. Amazon, destroying our planet one delivered box at a time, because one box is never enough, you always need more and more and more. But more, is not better. For Jeff yes, but for the rest of the world, no. I am writing this as a reminder to myself: dont buy from them anymore. Be part of the solution, not the problem.
