Pelican 1012 Foam Set (Gray)

very nice product. perfect fit and easy to pluck out one section at a time for small items.

Bought this with a pelican case to create a hard shell, waterproof hearing aid case. It was very easy to pluck out pieces with my fingertips to make a customized, snug fit for the hearing aid.

It is easy to shape the foam. You just pluck out some small squares, and it seems to hold up nicely. It is kind of pricey for what it is, but it does get the job done. I use it along with the Pelican 1010 for my RX100. It holds it nice and secure.

Works great with the Box. Only one pad is necessary unless you have something very small and very delicate. 2 Is a little overkill and doesn't quite fit too well in the little box.

It's foam. It's soft. It can change your life.

Can be easily conformed to any size or dimension one desires. Works really well with the Pelican 1010 micro case!! I love this product.

These are not very easy to use. I bought it along with a 1010 case to store extra small metal hardware for a couple moving lights. I went through the tedious process of picking out the correct spaces to store these pieces, (all slightly larger than marbles) and then jammed the foam in to the case. The case walls have waves in them and this piece of foam doesn't have those cut out, so the foam is a tight fit.Additionally, the foam doesn't touch the top of the case when it's in the case, so small things will come out of their foam holes if the case is moved around like this one is when the moving lights are in transit from one venue to another.If you need to secure lots of small items, you should probably look for a different solution.

Good product, as described. Flexible for whatever you need to keep in your pelican case. Inventions like these are what set us apart from the animals
