Definitely go one size up
I normally wear a medium, usually fits the best but taking into account other reviews I saw, plus the fact that I would want to use a sweater or sweatshirt underneath this, sold me on going one size up to a large. I’m 5’8”, 178 lbs and the large fits perfectly. Without a sweater it fits great with just enough room to add a wool sweater or sweatshirt, yet even without any bulky undergarment, the jacket is a spot on fit one size larger! The stowaway hood is such a plus as well!!!

I fell to the ground today. My jacket is not torn, but my hand is bleeding.

Great Jacket
Good workmanship on this jacket. Sewing is uniform. No loose threads. The fleece lining has mesh incorporated into it in the armpits to aid in ventilation. I bought an X-Large. I might be able to put a thin sweatshirt under it. Can't be beat at this price-point. HH name is enough said.

Very comfortable jacket to wear, instant warmth, but because of it's design you don't sweat wearing it. Very impressed!

Very very comfortable, totally waterproof and nice and warm. I keep this in my car at all the time as I'm not a jacket person but this I wanted as a light wearable winter type of jacket, it keeps the wind and rain out and can wear layers underneath for added comfort. For me the perfect jacket going into winter and a Great all round everyday jacket.
