Survivors for 21 century
Great book. Please note that this is by the same guy who wrote two classic novels based on the 70s TV series Survivors. These are Survivors: Genesis of a Hero and Survivors: Salvation. These books about a different UK disaster are just as good. Highly recommended.

Excellent thriller
I rarely give a five-star review, but this book was so finely crafted that I did. Characters were believable and consistent. I loved the social commentaries and the flaws revealed about our western governments. I will certainly read more from this author.

An electrifying thriller that takes place 20 minutes from now...
What happens when bio-terrorism and geopolitical tensions collide? That's the premise behind KILLING TOMORROW, an apocalyptic thriller that takes place 20 minutes into the future. The world is overpopulated. Governments are stretched thin. And terrorism and fanaticism have reached boiling point. When a deadly virus emerges, it marks the beginning of a terrifying pandemic that may just push the status quo over the edge. A dynamic cast of characters will have to make sense of this crisis as it escalates.Fleur Nichols is the journalist with a nose for a good story. Simone Gofre is the scientist who finds herself dangerously close to ground zero. And Wenna Cavendish is the spymaster navigating the hallways of power.Their fates are interlinked. Their passions and motives will collide. And a stunning revelation will change the course of human history forever.Author Peter Hill is a visionary storyteller. With a background in law enforcement and screenwriting, he brings us a narrative that's every bit as prescient and authentic as tomorrow's headlines. He does it with razor-sharp prose, and he isn't afraid to tackle ambitious themes here: feminism, globalisation, environmentalism.I'm a huge fan of female-driven thrillers, and Peter Hill sucked me in with his multi-layered narrative. It's poignant. It's gripping. It's breathless.KILLING TOMORROW is the first in the EVOLUTION'S PATH series. This is a literary techno-thriller with lashings of cyberpunk. Absolutely perfect for fans of Tom Clancy, Michael Crichton and Margaret Atwood. No, this isn't the end of the world, but you can see it from here. This isn't fiction. This is 'faction' -- a story so chilling in its realism, you won't soon forget it even after turning the last page. Its a dystopian narrative that sears itself into your mind. Don't start this unless you plan to stay up late!
