It is full of almost entirely photos with little captions and blocks of text that step by step guide you through what you are doing and introduce one to things that may be unfamiliar. I highly recommend this book to any aspiring keeper.

Great book for those wanting to learn about bees and beekeeping. Easy to understand, well illustrated and an excellent reference for common issues faced by beekeepers

This is a very clear, easily readable book with lots of very clear pictures to aid understanding for those interested in taking up beekeeping. It does not have the more detailed information contained in the authorised BBKA books that provide the more experienced beekeeper with more detailed information needed as experience develops. This book is very useful for younger, aspiring beekeepers and at the same time a useful source of information for all ages. Definitely worth having at the start of a beekeeping career.
