The birds go nuts for this seed. I live in Northern Virginia and this seed blend seems to be perfect for my area. Some days the seed in the feeder will be gone within a day. The seed seems to be pretty fresh whenever I order it. I do transfer it over to a bigger container. Overall of really good seed blend.

Great bird seed
This bird seed was a winner for my bird feeder! The birds love this stuff so it must taste pretty great to them! It also lasted a long time even with the squirrels getting into it. No weird smell like some other seeds. I definitely recommend!

Great for the Smaller Birds
I bought this seed as a “filler” until my regular seed would arrive and it’s now going to be the main one that I purchase. It’s perfect for the type of bird that I love to watch at the feeders and there doesn’t seem to be much waste either. Its doesn’t have the large sunflower seeds and has a lot of millet that attracts the smaller birds. Highly recommended.

Wild birds seem to stay away from this feed.
I purchased this item based on the rating and the reviews, but the wild birds in Nashville area don't seem to be interested. I purchased other feed from a local vendor and the birds seem to enjoy that. I am not sure if this particular unit has a problem but for sure the birds seem uninterested.
