Lots of features at a good price
This was a pleasant surprise. I bought the Ultra Probe to trouble shoot a problem with an aftermarket stereo system. I wanted to ensure I was working with a reliable ground, and connecting direct to the battery is only way to do this. This is a very handy tool that quickly identifies grounding issues, voltage problems, and open circuits. It also has procedures for testing relays, which will be a big plus if it works. The problem with my stereo turned out to be a connection with the amp, and I would not have found this problem without the Ultra Probe. It showed that I had 12v coming out of the battery, but 9 going into the amp, very helpful because I was certain I had a ground problem. This tool does not measure amps. The user manual is very small, but you can look up youtube videos for the other probe tool out there and use same procedures. Excellent deal for 20 dollars. Even comes with a cloth case.2 year update: The Ultra Probe is still working. I use it every week. It is nice to be able to measure and test with only one hand, vice two hands when using a multimeter

Was bought as a Christmas present. I just love the tool,easy to use,can power external switches,quick checks.Great tool.
