Dorman 22-1487 Rear Leaf Spring Compatible with Select Chevrolet/GMC Models

These leaf springs fit perfectly on my 2000 Silverado 1500 Extended Cab. After installation, they lifted the rear of my truck by a few inches, significantly improving both its ride quality and appearance. Installation Tip: Instead of dropping the gas tank, consider cutting off the front bolts and replacing them, installing the new ones in reverse. This method worked well for me and saved the hassle of dropping both the gas tank and exhaust. Replacement bolts are readily available at most hardware stores or can be ordered on Amazon.

Great fit, now to do the coils in front. Rear rides bumps better than front now 😩

Installed on my 2012 Silverado 1500.I had checked several different vendors for pricing,Amazon was cheapest.Plus the supplier is a major car parts manufacturer

Good quality only issues is a little bit thicker stack that what was removed and the front leaf bushing eyelet is smaller than the 5/8 factory bolt that came on the truck. Bushing are the same size on both ends on these leafs. Factory leafs were 5/8 bolt in front and 9/16 bolt on rear. Had to go buy new 9/16" x 4.5" grade 8 bolts to get the leafs to work on the forward side of the leaf.

I have an 06 silverado 1500, I bought these because I thought my leaf springs were going bad. But after taking the old one off and standing on the new one then the original one, the original one was waaaay stronger. So I put the old one back on and returned these.
