Cubes come out ok no problem. It's not the best tray out there, but for the money it's decent and requires just a bit of tinkering. For the ice sphere: filling the tray in the sink is not an option, and I generally put it in my freezer and then fill it. If it leaks too much fill it half way, way for the spheres to freeze and then fill the rest. There is no chance of getting crystal clear spheres and cubes, without extra steps, but still great for cocktails, whiskey and anything that needs to get chilled as the cubes/spheres melt slowly and look cool. To remove, just run the tray under some water in the sink and then pull them out. I usually make a bunch and then just put them in the zip lock/Tupperware and back in the freezer for later use.

Good price and suitable for my needs. Next time will order the clear ones to see water levels better
