FAIR PRICE
Perfect fit on my 1955 Ford. I did not like the squatting look my car had. I was able to level it out with these shocks. The ride is good with not being too bumpy. Good value for the dollar.

Good choice
I thought these were going to be cheap in-betweeners. You know....current shocks no good....Can't afford the good ones right now....Get these to hold me over a few thousand miles. I was mistaken. These shocks are made for my VW Bus. Check the manufacturer website. These are not one size fits all. The ride is smooth and comfortable. I'm glad I bought these. I would recommend any VW Bus owner try these, front and rear. I did and I like them.

Won't buy Gabriel products again
Absolute garbage! One shock was 1/2 inch shorter when fully extended. Supplied hardware did not fit, had to drill out lower bushing cap to fit over stud. Used both bushings to make up difference in length on top of mount and thin bushing from Gabriel rear shocks, (even worse quality). Had to reverse the end cap to get enough stud length for nut. This is on a '77 Ford and will only be driven about 300 miles per year. I'll live with it. Wouldn't trust these to last one year on a daily driver.I have 14 classic cars in my collection and will never buy another Gabriel product again.

Gabriel 82026 Shock Absorber was a perfect fit.
The Gabriel 82026 Shock Absorber was a perfit fit for my 1950 Ford Custom (Shoebox). My Shoebox had the original front shocks and these were a perfit fit. Istallation took about two hours with frequent breaks.

Nice ride quality, no frills, and "6 Pack" means "6 Parts"
I've used this shock on other classic cars and they provide a nice, compliant ride reminiscent of the original ride. They also have nondescript styling and look very appropriate under the car. Note that at the time that I ordered, the description says "6-Pack," and this refers to the number of parts in the package (shock, nut, bushings, etc), and not the number of shock absorbers you'll be getting. I'd buy again.

easy install!
I bought these as replacement shocks for a 1973 VW and they were a perfect fit! Even after 50 years of dirt and rust, the old ones came out and these popped right back in place. I couldn't be happier and I saved money over OEM shocks!
