Three LTD Stirling Engines You Can Build Without a Machine Shop: An Illustrated Guide

I don't know who the printer is (Amazon? - It says it was printed in the city where I reside), but the photos lack clarity, contrast and in many cases one can't see the details being referred to in the text.

The book is great, I have not tried to make one yet but looks like with this book I will be able to.If you are interested in Stirling Engines then this would be a great book for you.

I have built several stirling engines including a couple of LTD engines. I found this book to be most interesting. This book allows you to build three unusual stirling engines without any machine tools. The engines are different than any other stirling engines I have seen and the construction methods are well thought out to say the least.

Totally radical design completely unexpected, so disappointing to me for that reason.It is well written and illustrated, and someday, I may look a bit closer at this interesting variation of Stirling.

Even if you don't build any of these engines, the ingenious solutions to several of the problems involved were downright entertaining to learn about.

I have been fascinated by the simplicity of Sterling Engines and have been wanting to build my own for some time now. This book happen to peak my interest and it didn't disappoint me... It gives the general description and the "Parts List" for building three different Sterling Engines. To boot, the author gives you pointers where to purchase your material. Too Cool... I look forward to building my own Sterling Engine very soon... :-)

Will have a go at at least one. Will need translating from US English and units though as well as scouting around for sources of materials

This book challenges the ideas that I had about Stirling design. Elegant engines that you can build. Worth a look.
