I find the cutters on boxes of plastic wrap very frustrating. It's possible to get a good cut if I use them with care — but only when new. They soon deteriorate and make cutting the wrap a chore. This dispenser is a very different story. It seems easy to put a roll in the dispenser and the cutter assembly works smoothly and effectively. A bit on the expensive side, it seems to me, but appears quite sturdy. I'm pleased with it.

Bought this because my wife and I are always struggling with the wraps and foils - no more! We love this thing and I wish i had purchased years sooner.Super easy to use - just make sure the little slot cut into the top piece (blade/ cover) is on the same side you put the wrap/ foil through. If not, the foil/ wrap will tear and you will wonder why.The magnetic strip is powerful and makes this thing stick to the fridge without issue. Very strong for this purpose. I've installed a magnetic knife strip onto my kitchen island for this when using it. Immediately purchased a second for the foil. Very pleased. Good looking. Slim. Very functional. I store in a drawer but it looks nice enough for the counter.

I pull it out of the drawer pull the wrap upwards and to one side, then slice it cleanly off the roll with the provided cutter. Much easier than the cardboard box the wrap comes in. This one keeps the wrap apart, you just lay it to one side and it says there while you cut. Doesn't contact itself so you get a clean square or rectangle to lift off and use. No struggling with folded wrap.

I love this thing! After fighting with plastic wrap in the box it came in, I knew there had to be something better. And there is -- this thing! The cutter is such a great invention -- no more cussing at the metal cover on the box that never cuts right and always falls off. So easy to use.

I like the concept and style, but you have to Modify, (cut), some of the cardboard ends so it will fit in the dispenser. (About 3/8 of an inch).Still gets snagged sometimes.

This is a sturdy item with a smooth roll. I have mine on the counter to help with the preservation of all kitchen creations. It has a super magnet for the smooth side of the refrigerator. Countertop, frig or in the drawer, this is a well made item and can be used for foil, Saran Wrap, waxed paper, and parchment paper.10 out of 10.

After receiving this product in which I was excited to get I opened the box and took out the holder. On top of the holder there is push in tabs to get the top access cover off to replace or feed the plastic wrap. On this one one side opened without a problem but the other side would not open. The push tab worked just fine but something was restricting it to actually come apart. After some some time and sliding in a thin tool it was able to come apart and took a small piece of the bottom section with it. Upon further inspection I found that there was glue squeeze out from the lower assembly that glued the top removable cover onto the lower assembly. This product seems like a great kitchen tool. I have re glued the small piece that came out so hopefully after it dries and put together it will work and be fine. Just frustrated that I couldn't use it right out of the box.
