YIHUA#948FC Filter Chamber Compatible with Genuine YIHUA 948 Series Product ONLY (948 & 948-II & 948D-III & 948D-I Desoldering Station)

I purchased an Anesty ZD-8915 LCD Digital Electric Desoldering Station and needed some replacement parts. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be any suppliers in the US. I found this and it works great.

Great product if you want to learn how to clean the solder out of the solder collection spring and reuse it. I use a small soldering pencil iron in the end of the spring and the solder melts and falls out. It's now back in shape like the new one without damaging it.

The glass tube is smaller than the one I needed. I can use the rest of the items

Most of all, their aftersales service is excellent!!

Works better than the original from the ZD-915 and also traps the solder and any flux so you spend less time changing the ceramic pads, just use a heat gun on the spring to get any solder off once it clogs

It's made of glass instead of plastic like the original, which should make it less susceptible to melting. But it's half a centimeter too short and does not seal, and is therefore completely useless.

Unit works better with glass tube. you need to replace the rear o-ring with a heavier one
