Did the job!
I have a ductless mini split serving a small accessory dwelling with a loft. Since the motorized louvers on the wall unit can't be directed any higher than straight out, keeping the loft comfortable required a fan to keep air circulating. With this adjustable angle louver, the air can be perfectly aimed upward to send cool air up to the loft where it is needed most during the summer. The clear panel looks nice and unobtrusive. Installation was easy, although slipping the brackets behind the wall unit housing seemed slightly flimsy without any screws. It seems fine that way, although I would screw the brackets in to the wall if there was more of a chance that rowdy kids (or adults) might throw something that hits it.

Great product, stress free installation, no drilling.
I was on the fence about buying this product because it seemed pricey, but once out of the box it was very easy to install. I did not have to drill, just placed the all the items like shown in the video tutorial and it was ready. Took me 10 minutes to set it up and it works like magic.

Very Difficult To Assemble
Installed on a 24000 BTU unit.Limited instructions and very close tolerance’s make this difficult to install. The pieces that are needed to be snapped together require a lot of hand/finger strength. The installation directions are printed on the back of the box and are very generic. Here are some tips I found useful. Installing the mounting brackets under the mini-split is pretty straight forward. Just slightly lift the bottom of the unit away from the wall and slide the mounting brackets up and under the case. I chose to use 2 special drywall screws to attach the mounting brackets for a stronger mounting point (see pic).So here’s what the manufacturer doesn’t tell you; how to put the rest of the parts together. They just show a single diagram. The deflector shield isn’t like the picture. It’s not slightly s-shaped, it’s just a flat curve. Assembling the deflector shield; there are two pieces on the ends of the shield. They are really hard to snap into place but they will go eventually. Rock them side to side. There is a raised small circle and oval on the bracket, and matching indentations on the air deflector. They can only be put on one way (see pic). The two halves of the shield are held together by two clips. Once installed, the width of the shield CANNOT be adjusted, so before clipping the two pieces together; install the standout arms and measure the distance between them, minus 1/4 inch. Then lay the deflector pieces on a flat surface, overlap them and make the width the same as the measurement you took. Then attach the clips to either side. Again, this isn’t easy and they must be pushed all the way on (see pic).Remove the standout arms from the mounting bracket by sliding the small latches outward (see pic). Then attach the shield the the ends of the arms by pushing the round part of the shield clips into the holes on the arms. They are a VERY tight fit. Now you can finally attach the whole assembly to the mounting brackets. This may be a 2 person job with someone holding up one end while the other is attached.Hope this helps someone.

Works Great
I have a mini split installed in my kitchen and before purchasing this i had to turn it off every time we wanted to have dinner. With this I no longer need to shut it off. Instructions in the box would be nice but i was easily able to put it together by looking at the photos.

dont waste your
big, bulky. ugly and difficult to take down and put up. it fell and broke the first time I attempted to take it down without a step stool. I replaced it with a $20 deflector that actually worksgood!
