Great on my first watch, appreciate it even more after watching all the dreck since
This is an easy one to review. It's the best of the current Spiderman films, and the best since the original Spiderman 2.It's got heart, great action, amusing comedy, and has many poignant moments. It's easily Marvels best film since Avengers Endgame, and whilst that's been a pretty low bar to beat, I can't think of a single thing that lessens it compared to Spiderman 2. Other than it all being CGI, whereas that film was still back in the time of using some practical effects. But, that's an age thing on my part, and this is still wonderful entertainment. If only the rest of their films could be this good!!

Stan would have loved this...
It's not hard to see why this film made just shy of £2bh whilst Marvel's other Phase 4 offerings barely scratched a profit (when they made a profit at all). Yeah, there's a lot of fan service because... well: of course there is. Shang-Chi was fun, but unremarkable; Black Widow was a criminally wasted opportunity to properly honour one of the MCU's greatest and most interesting characters and Eternals was just a waste (started to watch it on a plane, ie for free and as captive an audience as it's possible to be ... and gave up after half an hour). And why? Because Spidey is still largely owned by Sony and therefore free from DisneyMarvel's ideological nonsense. Which isn't to say that the Spider-Man films haven't addressed modern day issues, they've just done it effectively and with common sense so it's perfectly organic, isn't a substitute for plot, character or circumstance and doesn't come across as contrived and offensive. Instead what we have is a frankly ludicrous premise (even by superhero movie standards) but one that more than pays off in its set up, execution and engagement - there is spectale, action, fun, drama and a tremendous emotional pay off. It also - finally - moved the MCU forward in intriguing ways. Take note, Mr Feige: drop the woke nonsense and remember how you made the Infinity Saga essential viewing.

spider-men!!!!!????whaaaaaaaat
if you like spiders and men then get ready for the ride of your life. peter parker, peter parker and peter parker star in this roller coaster ride of a movie about men with the proportionate strength of a spider. can you imagine that i doubt you can but watch this film and you will see just what I'm talking about . its also got bad guys in it with all different powers one of them has more than the normal number of arms, yes you heard right. also there is some really good CGI especially the bit when they have 3 people with the same name together and you wonder how it can be possible to have 3 people with the same name but its all just CGI. all i can say is watch this movie it is tip top and you will think its the best.all my loveparker peters (joking that's not my real name)

Your friendly neighbour Spidey!
Fans of the Tom Holland Spider-Man “home” series will love this finale of the trilogy and rounds things off nicely. Great acting by the all star cast and plenty of cameos abound for old schoolers like myself who remember the old Sam Raimi trilogy. It’s great to see the old school villains return in this multiverse mashup. Great action, humour and plenty of gasps and fan favourite moments (look out for the classic spider meme!) It’s definitely my favourite of the spidey films so far and one of the MCU’s best films since infinity war/endgame. Go Spidey!

Best SpiderMan thing ever?
I might be a Marvel fan-boy these days, but for some reason the various Spiderman films never really grabbed me as much as some others did. That was until "Into The Spiderverse", which is just incredible. But in a totally different way, THIS is the best thing ever. And i have seen other non-Spiderman fans say the same things, that NOW it all makes sense. Now, all those other films work together, rather than compete. If "Infinity War" and "Endgame" were the biggest things in film history, then, in it's own way, this is the cleverest. Getting all those different versions to come together, make sense, AND be entertaining is just genius that no-one would have ever thought possible not so long ago. And even if you don't even like this film, you at least have to doff your cap to the cinematic and story telling achievement..
