I use it in my water pitcher and it lasts a long time. I pour water from the faucet, but I keep the picture in the refrigerator and the water is so clean taste so good well worth the money.

Be sure to get the real deal filters like these are. They are worth paying a bit more for. My only complaint is that they are so hard to find now. Why doesn't Brita use this design in all of their pitchers?
