Great hammer, poor packaging by Amazon.
Estwing is a great hammer. However, Amazon has lost the quality shipping that was present in the beginning. It is now a crap shoot whether your purchase will be adequately protected or damaged due to uncaring personal motivated by quantity and not quality. My leather grip heirloom hammers were thrown in a box without protection beeting against one another during shipping. So both go back, at Amazon's cost, and now we try again until they get it right. Makes perfect economical sense, right.
