Glass thin and it broke
I just bought these wine glass and one broke. The glass is so thin. I was washing it and it broke right in my hand. I’m very disappointed because they cost $200. I’ve never spent that much money on wine glass before. This was such a bad buy.

Brutally honest glasses
Truly stunning glasswork. Even having seen dozens of online pics and reviews I wasn’t prepared for how unique and stunning these glasses were in person. Such a radical departure from everything else on the market and stunning to behold. I’m familiar with Kurt Zalto’s former work and I was skeptical that the tasting characteristics would compare to the Denk’Art line or live up to the visual design of the glasses. Based on first impressions these fall into the old adage that a product “doesn’t get better than this, only different”. These Josephinenhütte glasses have this way of magnifying a wine in such a way that can exhaust an excellent wine, but gives a lower quality wine no place to hide. I’m not sure if it’s the shape of the wall taper or the aerating design, but it definitely exaggerates whatever wine you’re drinking. Perhaps to the point where I wouldn’t use this for everyday wines, since you’re suddenly more aware of any slight flaw. But with a well-made wine, no glass I’ve tried can compare to the brutal honesty of these. Truly excellent.Admin note, these glasses shipped and arrived all within 24 hours with no issues. Very impressed with the speed and quality of service.

Josephine #2 vs #3 vs Gabriel Glas
In my opinion, if you really enjoy wine, then you need to own these wine glasses. I purchased both the #3 red and #2 universal. Both are exceptional. However, if you typically consume more red vs other types of wine, I’d clearly recommend purchasing the #3 red wine glasses. If however you occasionally or frequently indulge in both red and white I would recommend selecting the #2 universal glasses.I also own the Gabriel Glass universal standard art wine glasses. They too are excellent and definitely not as fragile. But if you truly enjoy wine, I give the edge to the Josephine wine glasses over the Gabriel Glas.
