Perfect fit
Arrived on time thanks AmazonPurchased a new Makita DKP180Z (gen 2) planer from my local hardware store over the last weekend and found that the chip ejection port was no longer round like the gen 1 was and doesn't except a dust bag (cheaper to produce I guess). I looked on the Makita website and it said that I would have to purchase an adapter to install a bag on this planer. I looked on Amazon and found this one at a reasonable price so gave it a try. It fits perfectly on this planer and now all I have to order is the dust bag. This item is well made and with perfect tolerances and fits seamlessly to the port on the planer. Well worth the money spent 👍

Perfect fit
Perfect fit, well made, and just what I needed. It is not a standard hose size, but I found a connection to fit. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

New planer parts
My other dust outlet broke when i dropped my planer off the bench .other sellers were very expensive .i did have to buy 2 but it still worked out cheaper .came quickly and fitted perfectly

Fits DeWalt 1 7/8" Wet/Dry Vac Hose
I know this is designed for the Makita 1 3/8" system, but the outer diameter of a 1 7/8" DeWalt standard hose (I'm using DXV04T) fits the inner diamer of this piece perfectly. The plastic is very smooth, though. You may need a very thin layer of tape for more security.
