I have extremely dry, sensitive skin, and lately I have been breaking out with angry red welts on my face. In search of something natural, gentle, and moisturizing, I decided to give this a try. It's AMAZING and doesn't sting my face. No added ingredients, no fragrance, just 100% Virgin Cold Pressed Shea Butter. I've been using it for a over a year. It does not specify 'Fragrance Free' on the label, the butter is all I can smell, nothing added to the list of ingredients. And NO ANIMAL TESTING.

Q: is this for use to make body butter mixed with a harder butter say kokum?

This is a very soft, spreadable shea butter, much softer than regular shea butter, which comes in "greasy" chunks. It could be used without melting (tho you'd have to melt your hard butter) to mix into a body butter product. You should not expect to substitute this product for regular shea butter and achieve the same consistency in your final product. Because this is a softer butter, your end product will also be softer (could be a good thing!) unless you change the proportions.

I don’t remember but it has a year shelf life.
